A December to remember...
Ladies...another laughter filled weekend...so much fun!! We had a lot of catching up to do - and we did it!! Dolores, Lois, Lori, Cathy, Maureen and I headed to Sauders. We found a 30% sale (yay) and also found out they are closing (boo). Bought some yummies, walking through the front house (weird). We took a photo out front just for old times' sake.
Peggy caught up with us after lunch, we hit the Log Cabin and the Farmer's Market...and checked in.
Sorry that Pam couldn't join us...so we sent her a selfie.
The sewing commenced in earnest. Mare and LA arrived near 7. The wine started to flow, pillowcases were churned out. Everyone kind of stopped early on Friday night....advancing age? wine? The village of Intercourse was having their Christmas celebration - lots of cute things going on. Up and at it early on Saturday, more fabric was bought, pot pies were purchased, Peggy and Mare hit the yarn shop....more laughs and kick-ass sewing. Dolores gave us a marvelous tutorial on the disappearing four patch. There was a zipper pouch class on Saturday afternoon - hysterical!! All too soon, it was Sunday morning again - time for show & tell and packing up. On to the photos...
Mare with her zipper pouch and a book she bought.
Peggy - couldn't grab a photo of her pouch - it was cute and yellow
This wins the awesomest award for the weekend - a crown royal quilt - a birthday gift for Bill. Amazing!!
