I am busy here! My first night back & I have 2 in-patients. Makes me worry what this year has in store...?!

Hey, everyone - bee was fun. We basted the quilt - no problem. Cathy took it home to machine quilt - Lori - are you making the binding? Thanks to Consuelo for hosting and providing brownies! Mare, Cathy, Leigh Anne and myself were present. Leigh Anne let us help her lay out some beautiful squares in all shades of blue - it was fun to play with them. She has a really neat quilt top planned for her Mom. Looking forward to seeing the result. Cathy cannot go on the mystery quilt weekend! Very sad news but she has to go to a conference for work - no way out. Is anyone else interested? She is going to lose her deposit...think about it - it's a lot of fun and a whole weekend away from loved ones - and there is no cooking or dishes - they serve all meals and they are delicious - please think about it. Speaking of the weekend - it's October 5 to 7th BTW, we need to buy our suuplies ahead of time so Mare and I are driving up to the Hayloft this Saturday - leaving at 8:30 am. I think Cathy and Leigh Anne are coming along as well. There are a few more open seats if anyone else is interested. Let me know.....enjoy the day - a few more days of summer - hard to believe. The Hayloft trip is a possibility on Friday evening as well - that works better for Marianne - let me know who can do what - and when. I can't leave till 5:30 on Friday - but I believe it's open till 9. Thanks.....

We are planning a day trip tomorrow(Friday) so I would not be able to go Fri night, but would love to go Sat AM. Don't make plans around me though. Fitz is flying home from California today(or tonight) so I haven't had a chance to speak to him about our day trip, I'm just ASSuming our plans are still on. Let me know when you are going--if we do go on our day trip tom--I'm IN for SAT AM.
Thinking about how much traffic there will be on Friday night - we're leaning again towards Saturday morning. Mare said she will be ready at 8! I'll drive - Mare, Lori, LA, Cathy?, Dolores - too early for you? Lois? Peggy? Consuelo has a busy social weekend, I think. Pam is going to Winterthur - have fun! More details to follow...piece.

As I suspected, John got in from California late and decided he would be DRAGGING if we went on our day trip to the water park tomorrow, soo...we are going Saturday which leaves me out of the trip to the Hayloft.Seems like a recurring theme with me doesn't it!! Anyway, I know Friday night was better for some--if anyone decides they would rather go tom. night, I'd be happy to drive. John did take the day off, so he would be here for the kids.

Thanks for the invites for Winterthur, Pam and for the trip to Lancaster, Jean. Today, Fri. is George's last day of work after 37 years. The fellows are coming for dinner tonight and tomorrow, we're just relaxing. So I can't go, but thanks. Next week after a few things we have to get done, we're going to take a long awaited vacation just for a few days. I'm anxious to see the finished autism quilt. Hope everyone has a good start to the new school year.
Girls - there is a change in plans at my house. Do you still have room in your car for me? If you do please let me know. Thanks.
