It's FRIDAY!!! : )
Hip, hip hooray!!! I think it's Mare, Peggy & Dolores that are going on some kind of Pocono/Mountain/Boonie adventure this weekend... Is that right? Have FUN & be safe! What is everyone else doing? We have dinner reservations @ Butterfish tomorrow evening. : )
Boonie Barb is about to begin her own sewing retreat in the woods!!! ; ) She has her new 440, & Charlie, her husband, will out snow mobiling with "the guys!" Fun for ALL!!! Barb will have piece & quiet to sew, sew, sew!!!
I began cutting Kaffe Fassett fabric last evening!!! It is SEW pretty!!! I LOVE his stuff!!! The colors are vIbRaNt, & the fabric design is big & BoLd!!! The pattern I'm using is from one of his books. Burkholder's put together a "kit" of Vibrant Diamonds. I'm pretty excited about it!
TGIF & enjoy your weekend!
Piecefully, Pam

Hello Ladies,
No, I am not going away this weekend. But, looking forward to next weekend. My Nicole comes home for a visit today--she is staying till Monday. She has an interview at Temple (Monday) for Pharm School next year. Keep her in your prayers.
Mare - so cool that Nicole is coming home! And tell her Happy Birthday!!! They will love her at Temple! Hope Peggy and Dolores have a wonderful time up the mountains - and avoid arrest! Pam - looking forward to seeing the diamonds. My goal is to cut the needed pieces for a celtic quilt to bring to the shore. Thanks for the link to Oogy's story. Menopausally speaking, I started crying halfway through - gotta stop reading this stuff at work! Have fun at Butterfish....let us know how it is. How's the mail-order tea? Everyone have a lovely weekend.....piece.
Mare - good luck to Nicole - we'll be praying for her. Peg and Dolores have fun - stay out of Joanne's. I saw the end of the end of Oogy story yesterday - Kerry was watching it when I got home.
Sad story - I'm with you Jean.
Everyone have a nice weekend.
Pam, the story of Oogy had me choking back tears too. I read it to George and he was misty too. Mare---glad your Nicole will be home---how nice. Glad to hear that things are going well for everyone and their families.
Girls - I'm sorry to bring everyone to tears over Oogy. That wasn't my intention. He was on Oprah as a Valentine's dog! I thought his story was incredible!!! I LOVE him & his resilience!!! : ) Isn't it wonderful that he is filled up with LOVE & has such a caring home now!?!?!? And, that Vet deserves a LOT of credit too...he cared for & saved Oogy's life!!!, & did NOT accept a penny for payment. It makes my heart swell!!! There ARE GOOD people. : )
Mare - enjoy Nicole & squeeze her good! : ) Happy Birthday to her!!!
Enjoy your Friday evening & your tomorrow too!
Piecefully, Pam
