Our blog is like Susan Boyle, perfect just the way it is.
I'm hoping to stop by on Saturday but Matt has a game at 11:00am so we'll see. But I gotta tell ya, squares and color choices...right up my alley, I can spend days. As you all well know : )
As for fusable stuff, Hasbro has always been my choice. So much better than Mattel. Oh wait, you meant fabric...I thought you were talking about Shrinky Dinks...
Finally...Happy birthday Peg!!!
Thanks for the laughs Maureen!
Hope everyone is well! I can't make it on Saturday. Sean has a game, Jules has a game, and I am taking my sister to Babies R Us to register...lots of pink!
Anyway, back to work...that's what I am supposed to be doing while Kevin is sleeping...it doesn't happen often!
Jean, I finally ordered the books that you told me about...I am nervously awaiting their arrival...and thanks for the prices, too. I haven't heard back from the mom who asked...
Happy Birthday Peggy!!
Love, LA
Pam--posted some thoughts on the fusible and the blog on the previous post.
Peggy--Happy Birthday!!! Is it just me, or does if feel like we just gave Peggy her quilt at the Lamb tavern??
Maureen--you are too funny!!!
Have a good evening!!
Hey girls--did anyone see the pics on the My Yellow Farmhouse?? Wouldn't we all LOVE that sewing room with THAT view???
Saw those pictures - that house is out of control - and it sounds like they're downsizing to move in there. How big is their current home - amazing! Pam - thanks for the invite but I have design/machine work that I've been avoiding - heading up now. Wish me luck! Hope Peggy had a fabulous birthday! Consuelo - perhaps I should just drop the squares at your house and pick them up Saturday??? What do you think? I was reading a quilt magazine featuring scrappy quilts - and one woman described it as 'controlled scrappy' - there's a pattern/sequence to the scrappiness. That's you!!! Congrats - you are not alone! Take care 'mamas...piece.
Pam, I was going to stop with Kevin, but I just finished cleaning up the Kitchen and bath time has begun...thanks for the offer though...see you soon.
By the way Consuelo...Smurf shrinky dinks were (are) the best!
Peg - happy birthday. I know everyone is busy, but Kerry is leaving around 6pm on Friday night.
Talk to everyone soon!!
Controlled Scrappy.....music to my ears...
