Labor Day weekend....

Really....already? Wow.......summer just up and rolled on by when I wasn't paying close attention. Oy! Missed the girls who weren't here on Wednesday. Dolores, Cathy, Lois and I sat on the porch and just laughed and chatted away....hurricane stories, grandkid stories, kid stories....you name it. Cathy brought an adorable tote that she made - terrific handles. It was a free pattern from Spool - she said she would give us copies - she's made a bunch of them. I made this growth chart for the little kid next door who is having a first birthday this weekend:

Glad that everyone survived the storm ok - especially Pam. LA - how is Grandmom? Anybody have any big plans for the weekend? I know hotel Henderson is booked. Good luck - I know Consuelo will get some well deserved rest tomorrow night after everyone checks out. Dolores - thanks for the offer to go up to the Country Quilt store - I was practically salivating when I read about the sale - but I won't get my first paycheck until next Friday. I hope you get some good deals!! Saw Mare - she had a wonderful time on her trip. Can't wait to hear more details - we can get the full scoop on the Lancaster weekend., no doubt. There is a rumor that Peggy may come with us - that would be terrific!!!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.......piece.
