Pre-Thanksgiving bee....

Thanks to Consuelo for hosting.....Cathy, Lori, LA, myself and Consuelo. Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week already. Lori is heading to California to spend it with John's brother and his family. Lori made this cute table runner to give to them.

Consuelo thought it would also be cute as a chair cover - only need to make 5 or so more, Lori!

I can't get this picture to center - oy! Anyhow - these are the first two of a few Christmas presents I need to make.

LA had to leave to go up to SH to make Santa Shop crafts. That will be here before you know it too! Kerry will be home in 5 weeks.  We missed those who weren't there. Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. And the Lancaster trip is now only two weeks away - or 14 days or 336 hours. I'll post next week and we can reply about what we're going to bring. Consuelo is already down for Friday night dinner - a lovely soup. Thanks, ladies....take care....I'm thankful for each of you!!! Peace.

That's a wrap!

Ladies...lots of show & tell and gabbing tonight. It's been a while! Lori, Cathy, Mare, Consuelo, Lois, Dolores and myself - we missed you LA!

This is a cute pillow Lori made for Halloween - no pattern!

Isn't this pretty? Cathy made this using charm packs and stuff she had on hand!

Lois made this cool string quilt - the brown is great! Love the pattern that is created!

Dolores made this 'manly' quilt for Ryan's bed in his new apartment. It is terrific!

Dolores had worked on this a bit on our last Lancaster trip....

These were extra blocks from two other projects - combined to made another beautiful Dolores quilt.

The girls needed something to carry necklaces when they got changed at school - these went together quickly.

I am up to date with my sunshine blocks of the month - only one to go!

I made this little hanging for a benefit raffle.

Lots of creating ladies....just wait till the Lancaster weekend! Take it easy......won't be long now. Have a nice weekend.....piece.

Back to normal....

Hey, everyone...it sounds as though most folks around here made out ok during hurricane Sandy - thank goodness! Lois got back from Seattle in the nick of time - and Pam got out of town just ahead of the storm and is safely in Houston. Scott and Pam both report that things are fine at their house in Lewes. The Houston show is going on and Karen won an award for her beautiful quilt. You can see all the winners if you go to the website. Also - when the Houston show is going on, Amy Smart has a blogger's quilt festival on her site - lots of pretty quilts to look through - if you're trying to avoid work or paying bills online or whatever! Take it easy ladies....hopefully we can have a bee next week. Will keep you posted....we need to talk about the Lancaster 'mansion'! The fabric road trip on Saturday was successful - with everyone securing some good bargains and beautiful fabrics. Of course, anytime Dolores is there, it's laughs and fun!! Waiting for the sun......piece.

Until our sun comes back......
