Lots of stuff this week, ladies. First - welcome to the world - Kevin McCann!!!!!!!! Congrats to Joanna and Bill - and all the DeMarcos, McCanns and Halligans. Can't wait to meet him. Glad everyone is well. Congrats also to Erin, Lindsay and John - on to high school - good luck! A nice bee this week, girls. Felt like we hadn't gathered in ages. Lois - we missed you!!! Hope you and George are doing well. Cathy had an adorable Schibbles quilt - very cute. Consuelo had Colleen's graduation quilt - just beautiful!!!!! Dolores picked out the fabrics and they were fabulous! I'm sure she loved it - it was a truly a labor of love -and not exactly stress-free. But - all's well that ends well. Dolores had a beautiful quilt finished - that is on its way to Germany. You are truly global, D! How cool is that? LA has some awesome new Olivia fabric - for a quilt for Olivia's first birthday. A sewing day is coming in July. I'm packing four quilts/wall hangings in the bags to Ireland - psyched about that. I won't see y'all until July - I have a list of quilt shops from the Irish quilting magazine - hope to score some fabric while I'm there. Take care.....give Kevin some hugs from the Quiltmamas! hey....
Happy Friday!!!! Did anyone else see Leigh Anne on TV during the Phillies game last night??? So cool - watching and all of a sudden, there was her cute self - right behind the dugout!!! Kiddo - you and Maria were on a lot - I know the whole family was watching you - what a treat. It was a great game - would have been better if they'd won but what can you do? Any news on the baby front? Mare - what's the latest? How is everyone else? I'd like to host on Monday evening - regular time. Hope you can all make it. We leave the following Monday. The rest of next week is a little busy. Cath - how was graduation? Were there tears? Mike? I cried at kindergarten graduation - I can't even imagine! Hope everyone has a terrific weekend - hope to see you all on Monday night.......piece.

Breath of fresh air
Good morning. ladies. Wasn't the breeze this morning tremendous? What a change from the weekend!! It's amazing how differently the weather can make you feel. The humidity just leaves me feeling wrung out and exhausted - no energy for anything. Today is awesome. Hope you all had a nice weekend. Mare - heard you were down the shore - hope it was cooler down there. LA - nice to see you yesterday - sorry we couldn't chat. Hang in this week - next week will be easier. Cath & Mike - have fun at graduation this week - and all the surrounding festivities. Your baby is finished high school - hard to believe. Pam - enjoyed the Mermaid's tale - can't wait to see her in person. Consuelo - hope you were able to put your feet up yesterday and take a breather after that long track season - well done!!!! Lois, Lori and Dolores - how's things in your worlds? Lois - can't wait to see the top you are quilting. I was going to try to host this week - but, I'm sorry I can't. Between softball playoffs, Narberth basketball and trying to get things done for our trip - there is something every night. Sorry - I miss you guys. Have to finish up some teacher gifts and graduation gifts in there somewhere too......oy! Things will calm down in July, right? Next Wednesday is my last day of work.......can you say 'counting the hours?' Anyhow - enjoy this sparkling day. Piece.......

Happy Memorial Day weekend!!
Ladies - the beginning of summer...can you believe it? A nice bee the other night. We missed those who weren't there. Pam had her striped blocks sewed into a top - very cool -and, she assures us, very easy to do. She is officially on break from work and loving life! Going to Mama Barb's this weekend to see the new place. Please tell her hello from the 'mamas. Cathy had Chris' t-shirt quilt with her. It's huge - and so cool!!! He is going to love it. Has a nice blue flannel on the back and no batting. It feels terrific. Lori is inches from the finish line on the addition and got some nice Amish pieces of furniture for the family room. The ribbon-cutting bee will be soon. Maureen came and just soaked up the 'mama juju. Chris is rowing up in NY state this weekend. Go Prep!!!! She is wrapping up a fabulous track season and is looking forward to some well-deserved down time, I'm sure. I quilted an Irish hanging and have a t-shirt quilt all basted and ready for quilting. Perhaps this weekend.......Lois, Mare, Dolores and LA - what is going on with you guys? Lois - haven't heard from you or seen you in ages.....how are you? Mare - is Joanna counting the days yet? Hope she survived our mini heat wave this week. It was so uncomfortable. A beautiful day today - hoping for a nice weekend. Enjoy it, ladies......see y'all soon. Piece.....

Saw some of you here and there over the weekend....how was everyone else's weekend? Can you believe this weekend coming is Memorial Day? We have to meet this week - it's just been too long. Hope you can all come on Wednesday - regular time. We have to get caught up!!! The reservations have been made for November! Bring show&tell if you have it......see you......piece.
