Fabric road trip

It seems that there is a need for a trip to Sauders, Hayloft and the Windmill. We need to get Dolores off the porch, for crying out loud! Looking at May's calendar - May 8th is a possibility - that's Mother's Day weekend - a self-gift, perhaps? Or how about May 22nd? What are your thoughts? Good luck to the girls finishing up classes next week......y'all have a lovely weekend! Hope to see you out and about....piece.

A productive weekend?

Was it? It was for me - but not like last weekend - this was all sports events, mulching, grocery shopping, cooking some meals for the week and bathroom scrubbing - not nearly as much fun as last weekend. I did manage to make a pink sock monkey for my niece who is having a birthday today. Talked to Lois yesterday - so nice to hear from you, Lois! Feels like we haven 't seen you in ages. She and George saw Burkie on TV yesterday - buying the Silent Knight fom the guy around the corner - how about that! LA - you and Maureen did a fabulous job running that track meet yesterday! Dolores - are you still sitting on the porch? Mare and Cath - coming to the semester's end - thinking of both of you. Hang in there.....Pam - you must be glad it's Monday. Your countdown is on too! Lori - those contractors finished yet? Sorry I can't host this week - a crazy, busy week culminating in Confirmation on Saturday. Next week - put it on your calendars - I'll host on Wednesday - we can't let another week go by......have a good day, ladies. Take a few minutes for yourself....piece.

Girls.....looked at the fall calendar last night. Anyone have any life-changing events scheduled for the weekend of November 5-6-7? After Halloween, before Thanksgiving....a good time to get some Christmas gifts started/finished. We need to start a new counter......let me know your thoughts, ok? Piece.....

The eve of the big day.....

Hey, girls....the car disappeared on the ticker......wonder what will happen tomorrow?! Fun time last night....here's the list of who's bringing what, etc.....

Jean - TP, tissues, tea bags, candy, card table, ironing board/iron, cutting board

Mare - power strip, plates, cups, saran wrap, small soaps

Cathy - water, small table, extension cords, paper towels

Dolores - breakfast pizza, fruit

LA - wine and snacks

Mo - fruity wine and snacks

Pam - wine and snacks

Bring anything else you want....

Thought of a couple of things.....I'm bringing a small ironing board too - can someone bring another iron - so we have two ironing stations. Also - LA - can you bring your ipod player? Anyone think of anything else? Is this the slowest day ever or is it just my imagination? OY! Talk to you soon....piece.....
