Another snowy Wednesday...

but to the 10th power. It's crazy out there. I hope everyone is safe - I know that Cathy and Pam have to go to work....how about everyone else? SJU is closed today, thank goodness. Hoping for the same tomorrow - I"ll need that long to shovel out! If you're home, are you getting a chance to sew? I got these two tops together - they still need borders.

And a village is coming together....

Thinking about you all.....hoping the families are safe too. Take care.....hopefully we can get together soon. Burkie called from the British Virgin Islands yesterday - he was wearing his bathing suit, drinking Pirate's Punch at a beach bar, looking at the blue Caribbean - OY!!!! It couldn't happen to a nicer guy! Wishing you tropical daydreams....piece.

You're shoveling alone?!!! Oy!! Let me know if you need help. Bill and my strapping teenager will come by. Have to say I'm loving the snow. Haven't seen anything like this in my lifetime. Makes me think of my mom. She loved when it snowed. I'm enjoying looking out my windows and marveling at nature. Hope all my Mamas are safe and warm! Take care all..

No...I'm not shoveling alone - I have a strapping teenager also - and a neighbor with a snowblower. God bless that guy!!! Looks to be treacherous out there - be careful 'mamas....piece.

Glad to hear from you guys!

Hey maybe Burkie will run into Momma Barb and Karen...?! I'm not liking any of them very much...

Scott and I are NOT going into work tonight. We didn't know that until AFTER the snow blowing, dog walking and sheer treachery of this current "Winter Bliss"... Last night and this morning were bad!, but tonight?! This is UN-holy!

Stay safe!!!

I'm with Pam...Jealous of those in tropical climates right now. Fitz has been away since early Monday morn. My strapping teenager and I braved the snowblower ourselves. Actually, Johnny pushed and I supervised by walking behind him (occasionally helping with steering). Can't be jealous of Fitz though, he got to see this storm or the northern part of it the day before we did.
Hope everyone is shoveled out by now and is stitching something unlike me who is going thru withdrawal. Just feel like with the construction we are on top of each other!

Heaven....my own bed and a shower. I just got home - I've been at the Bryn Mawr Hilton since 6am Tuesday. So happy to be home in my own home. Heard the storm was horrible, didn't really get to see anything before the clean up. Stay safe and warm. Talk to you soon.
