Hi Girls,

How's everyone doing? We had a nice breath of Spring this week, didn't we? It felt good. : )

Has everyone unpacked your Lancaster treasures? Lor - it is difficult to not be in a bit of a fog & overwhelmed by everything during Show time. Dolores - are you still fondling your flannel...? Cath - did your Gumdrop fabric arrive from The Quilter's Alley? My Kaffe Fassett oop fab came in today's mail - yippee!!!

Here are a few pics from the Show. Quilts I admired. I'll try to add a couple photos every now & then. Stay tuned...

Pam - thanks for the pix....I just loved the black/white one - so impressive. Her details were just amazing! Does anyone remember the name of the vendor at the left end of that first row of quilts as we walked into the first room - the one with the cool polar bear fabric - I bought the summer postcards pattern there - I didn't get a card and she had some really nice things. Haven't had much time to do anything with my purchases - have to prep and paint the powder room this weekend - hopefully it won't take the whole weekend but there is the cleanup of all the drywall dust - OY!!! That will suck up the rest of the weekend. Really looking forward to our sewing session next Friday night! Time set aside just for sewing - magical!! Anyhow - I'll see some of you at track this weekend.....hope y'all have a nice one! Piece...

Jean - it's The Christmas Shoppe, & their link is in my previous post!!! I too thought their booth - patterns, kits, books & fabric were ALL really nice & well priced! ; ) So...sew, simply scroll down & click!

Speaking of OY & home repairs/remodeling...well, I guess this is IT... Scott is calling Contractors (as I write), & we're going to be getting bids for work to be done on our home. We're staying...?!?!?!

TGIF!!! Have a nice weekend, ladies.

Pam--SOOOOO happy to hear that you and Scott are staying!! What kind of work are you looking to have done?? We have had a contractor in for 2 days cleaning out our attic. We found mold that must have occured after we put the Christmas decorations away. On the plus side, I got rid of ALOT of JUNK and my attic is very clean!

I liked the Christmas Shoppe also!!
I'm almost finished my binding on the tee shirt quilt. Anxious to start a new project.
Everyone have a great weekend!!

Have a nice weekend...Pam - good luck with your renovations. Glad you're hanging around! Piece....

Pam,
Thanks so much for the idea of using the clear thread on that area of the tee shirt quilt where the label is. It worked great! I used clear in the bobbin and smoke on top. Thanks again!!! The tee shirt quilt is finished!!
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
Talk soon...
