A slow Sunday
Hey, 'mamas! How is everyone. Hope Dolores and Consuelo are enjoying themselves at the beach, a boat drink in hand. We went to the pool this afternoon - it was nice to see the sunshine. Anyone else jump out of bed with the big clap of thunder last night around 11 - my heart was pounding! That was a lot of rain! I finished up the kindergarten bags last night - yahoo!!! Now, I can go on to other projects. I got an email this afternoon from http://quiltingasyouwish.com/home.html . They are going out of business on Tuesday. I'd ordered some stuff from them before. Anyhow - tremendous prices on fabric - if you're cruising online tonight or tomorrow, check it out. Hope you all had a nice weekend. I can host bee this week - if you're in town, come on by. Mar is at the shore with me so she won't be at bee. She's trying to think of a Jimmy Buffet song about having her butt in a chair but can't remember the words. Pam, she also wants to say sorry sorry about not picking up the table this week. She got too tied up with moving her baby. Hey when did I become a secretary?!? Anyway gals, hope you are all having a good week. We are enjoying ourselves. Resting after touring AC casinos with Matt. Casinos are the this week's bridges. See ya soon!
Consuelo...thanks for commenting from the shore! Glad that Mare got to go down with you. Tell her the song is 'Lone Palm'. Isn't Matt too young to gamble?? You haven't run into JOE BYRNES have you? We'll miss you guys...enjoy the rest of the week. 'The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful...' - another classic Jimmy line. BTW - the term is Administrative Professional (I am one) - secretary is way too 70's!!! LA - have fun at 'girls night out' at the Phils game. No stopping at the Cave on the way home! We are home from the shore for a few days. John has 2 sisters and BOTH of their Father-in-laws passed away. One early Friday Morn and 1 Sat. afternoon. The
1st is already buried-he's Jewish so I got home Sunday afternoon to go to shiva. The 2nd's arrangements are Wed. night (no bee for me)Thurs. morn. We are headed down the shore for a long holiday weekend. John took thurs, fri, and Tues off.
Mo--you are the QMama with many different hats or should I say aprons?! Did you girls go over to the OC quilt shop? Call me if you do, I'll ride over with you. I haven't been there all summer.
