Good Morning,

I am missing you guys! I'm wondering what everyone has been working on - just holiday things...?! Turkey, gift lists, Black Friday strategies, hmmm, any sewing going on?! Leigh Anne, do you have the little drawstring bags sewn? How did they turn out?! Lori, how is your Santa coming? Will he be hanging in your home this Season?! ; ) Like I said earlier, I've been working on my miniature. I un-sewed the quilting I did...TWICE! Three's a charm, I'm satisfied with what I've done this time! Scott is a TOUGH critic, I NEED you guys!!! Next on my sewing list is a chatelaine for Barb. The fabrics came in yesterday's mail. The pattern directions aren't user friendly, there are a million small pieces which are to be traced onto paper, cut out & then traced onto fabric & cut out... Oh boy, this is going to be a challenge! I'd like to make a couple blocks for our December Guild meeting too. Is anyone else going to make Guild blocks?

Last Friday I did go to the Main Line Quilter's Guild meeting. The Guild is small, & many of the members are older. Karen's presentation was exceptional! She talked about the history of quilts & quilts in history. She brought 2 suitcases FILLED with her private collection of antique quilts. They were spectacular!!! She had an unbelievable Pennsylvania Album quilt done in teal & red, & a stunning Crazy Quilt done mostly in silks & satins! I felt fortunate to see such remarkable quilts up close 'cause usually these kinds of things are behind glass in a museum. Karen only does this talk @ local Guilds because she won't take these quilts on a flight. If anyone has the opportunity to see her Quilts In History @ any time, I encourage you to do sew! ; ) You won't be disappointed!

Well, non-traditionalists that Scott & I are, our Thanksgiving will be this evening. We're having seafood! We are SUCH rebels! In your homes, who is cooking, or are you going to another's home for the Holiday? Regardless, enjoy!!!

I am thankful for my Bee girls!!! Your friendship & our Bee is SO, SEW inspiring to me. Thank you one & all!
Piecefully, Pam

Consuelo will be cooking...
Please pray for Consuelo and for those who will be feasting (said sarcastically) on what she produces..
Hope you, Scott, and all the Quiltmamas have a pieceful (get it!) Thanksgiving.
