Another jewel in the crown of the Quiltmamas! An excellent job ladies....the precision and teamwork were a joy to behold. Starting at approximately 1:00 pm - a completed top was ironed by 4:00 pm - amazing! It's looks terrific! Cathy D took it home to layer and quilt - we're looking at having bee next Thursday or possibly Wednesday - Consuelo (who was a fabulous hostess - M&M's on the sewing table) is going to contact Sister and invite her so the presentation can be made. What a talented bunch! Thanks again....have a pieceful day!

It was truly fun yesterday---like an old fashioned quilting bee of sorts. It was fun making a project as a group. I enjoyed it. She must be a wonderful lady, that you want to make a quilt for her. Jean, I forgot to return your thread to you.

Hello Mamas..
Sister Marita will be joining us next Thursday, around 8:00pm. She did ask if she was going to have to quilt something. I reminded her to consider how much I sew:) Thanks for all of your hard work yesterday. It was fun and the quilt looks amazing. I'm sure she's going to love it.

Ladies - I can't believe it...but I just finished quilting. I had mega trouble with my machine today - I believe human error of some sort, but I think the quilt is going to need super special blessings from someone, because my mouth was horrible. I don't usually get frustrated, but I was big time frustrated with my machine today. I will go over it tonight and tomorrow when I get home from work, then pass it on to Lori. Thanks.

Cath....awesome job - unbelieveable! The quilt is going to live in a convent for the rest of its life - it'll see more prayers than I ever will! So the cursing won't hurt it.....how about you? Are you recovered? Don't tell Mike - he'll be telling your Mom on you. Do you think the machine needs to be fixed? I have an extra if you need to borrow it. I'm so looking forward to next week's bee. Thanks again for finishing it...and enduring the frustration. Please let me know what I can bring.

Jean - thanks for the offer. I think I fixed it. I used thread that kept breaking in the machine and I think a piece of thread got stuck. I took the machine apart three times - 3 is the charm. It's working fine now. Thanks for the offer. I'm good. Once I got going - I found it relaxing. I can get lost doing it...a little Buffet, a little Brad Paisley..a little Springstean. Talk to everyone soon.
