Hello, 'mamas! How are you? So much happened last week...I'm so grateful for the blog and the emails. I was so sad to read about Mr. Stickney....Cathy it was good to talk to you last night. You were such a help and comfort to both your Mom and Dad these past months. He maintained his humor and dignity - thanks to you. What a wonderful gift you gave him when he needed it most. Losing a parent is something we have all dealt with or will deal with...we're coming to that age. Having each other to lean on is so important. Thanks to all of you for your friendship. Pam - cool pictures of those busy animals of yours! It truly looks difficult to be them! Mare...how's things in your household? Kids back to school? How are we looking for the shore in February? Any takers? Consuelo - thanks for the emails. There was a bingo caller on the ship - she was so funny and it made me think it could be later life career for you - you'd be great! Lori - how is your Dad doing? Dolores - how about those Byrnes' and the Lucky Heart Lottery!!!! Congrats - and Ryan turned 21??? He probably doesn't get carded as much as his Mom! LA - how are we feeling? This child will end up with more quilts than days in the week - you know that! Peggy - what's new? A day off tomorrow - gotta love that. Lois....how are the grandkids? When is your next trip planned? How about Carolyn Jones finally having a girl? Wonderful news. Getting my land legs back today - and doing mounds of laundry. It was an awesome trip - we just loved it. Friday afternoon, it was 80, we were sitting on a beach in the Bahamas, under a palm tree with a boat drink in hand - very nice! Today's 25 degrees is a bit of a change. Talk to you all soon, I hope. Cathy - anything you need during this difficult week, we're all here for you. Good luck with Tim tomorrow.....piece.
