Good Morning Girls,

TGIF!!! : ) Hooray!!! It looks like we're going to have nice weather this weekend, that's always a plus!

What do you have planned for the weekend? Kids sporting events, gardening, yard work, putting in screens, SEWING?! Whatever you're doing, enjoy the flowers & GREEN-ness!

We're leaving for Mama Barb's this afternoon. Scott is doing computer net working for Barb. I will be sewing!!!

I got the quilting DONE & have the binding sewn to the front of the baby TATW quilt!!! Awesome!!! : ) I machine quilted like a MANIAC yesterday morning while Scott took Jingle for his walk. Got the rest finished up before dinner, & after dinner I got the binding sewn on. I have it all set to take to Barbs!!! Life is definitely coinciding, gotta love that! Thanks Lori! ; )

Cathy - YOU ROCK!!! I opened up our laptop, asked Scott about down loading FlashPlayer & WATCHED the www.allpeoplequilt.com binding video while sitting @ my sewing machine (which I've FINALLY named, Gertrude!) It WORKED!!! I made a binding without lumps!!! Thanks ever SEW much!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how our Bee shares tips & tidbits! I am going to try to add the video link...okay, it's the first link on the left hand side of our posts. Try it!

Mare & Lori - you're heading to Lancaster this morning? You have a beautiful day for travel. Have FUN & buy excellent things!!!???

Piecefully, Pam

The video link works great - and how about being able to watch it right in your combined studio - wouldn't have happened if you were still upstairs! Have a great time at Barb's - looking forward to seeing the quilt finished - congrats on getting the binding on just in time. I'm planning a day of sewing on Sunday - can't wait. How did the Lancaster travelers make out? Were you on 897 at all? Looking forward to seeing your purchses...enjoy the day.

Hi girls--
Mare had to cancel the Lancaster trip--someone called out sick so she had to go in so payroll could be done. Cath didn't go either. She had alot going on so... I took the trip myself. It was such a nice day that I thought why not? I had to get fabric for a tee shirt quilt I need to have finished by early June. I only went to Sauders and Burkholders. Sauders has alot of bolts in the sale isle for 2.29-3.59 (I think). After much deliberation I decided to do the tee shirt quilt in bright batiks which I purchased at burkholders with my 20% off coupon. I also picked up a few novelty fabrics there as well as some flannel at Sauders. It was definitely NOT as much fun as when I go with some of the Quilt Mamas, but still a good day. Would take a ride again whenever anyone needs (or WANTS) to go!!! LA--I was thinking of you as I drove on 897 from Sauders to Burkholders!!!!
Everyone have a great weekend!!!

I came up with our theme song for driving on 897. With deference to that most awesome band 'Talking Heads'.....

We're on the road to nowhere.....
